Redox Chemistry and Conformational Dynamics

Our group examines structural changes during folding and function of signaling proteins, with a particular emphasis on heme proteins and their redox-linked transformations. We employ a wide range of experimental approaches including development and synthesis of new protein dynamics probes, mutational analysis in vitro and in vivo, and time-resolved optical spectroscopy.
